  • Where is your office located and what are your office hours?

    Our office is located inside the gates of Palmetto Bluff at 15 Buckhead Bay Road, Unit 1509, Bluffton, SC 29910. The office is open daily from 9-5.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancellation requests made more than 60 days from the date of arrival will receive a full refund, less a $125.00 cancellation fee. Cancellation requests made between 30 to 60 days of arrival will forfeit the 50% deposit initially charged toward the reservation, but will not be charged the 50% Balance remaining. Cancellation requests made within 30 days of arrival, are not subject to a refund. Reservation modifications are subject to the same terms and conditions as cancellations.   • When is my second payment due?

    If you book your visit with us more than 30 days before your arrival, you will incur a 50% payment at the time of your booking. The remaining 50% of your payment will be due 30 days prior to your arrival. If you booked less than 30 days prior to your trip, you will have covered your payment in full, so you do not need to do anything!

  • When can I arrive and what is your check-in process?

    We do not require you to check-in at our office – you may go straight to the property on/or after the check-in time of 3:00PM. For security purposes, home access will be sent via email 5 days before arrival, and via text 24 hours in advance of arrival. Check-in is at 3:00pm. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed. If you require a check-in time before that, our team will notify you of availability, and there will be a $75 Early Check-In Fee added to your reservation. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate ANY requests for a late check-out.

  • Can we check-in early or check-out late?

    We cannot guarantee early check-in until 24 hours prior to your stay. To ensure your vacation rental is up to our cleaning standards, we allow ample time for our cleaning teams and inspectors to thoroughly prepare your home before your arrival.
    If your travel plans necessitate a check-in before 3:00PM on the day of arrival and if our team has confirmed that it can be can arranged for you, the earliest check-in being noon, there will be a $75/hourly Early Check-In Fee (per hour) added to your reservation.
    We cannot guarantee late check-out until 24 hours prior to your departure day. If we can accommodate a Late Check-Out on your day of departure, we will let you know the day before you check out. Late departure fees are $75 per hour until 3pm and then a full night charge beyond 3pm.

  • Can I send packages to the house prior to our arrival?

    If you are preparing for an event or would rather send items than bring them with you, we are happy to hold these items until your arrival. We ask that you please send any deliveries to our staffed office at:

    Please ensure that you address them to Luxury Simplified Retreats, ATTN: Our Luxury Retreat.
    We are happy to receive these items for you. You will need to contact our Concierge to alert us that a delivery is coming and provide tracking information.
    We can deliver these to the property OR you can plan to pick up your packages from our office upon arrival. We do not recommend sending packages directly to the house prior to arrival for risk of them being lost or left outside.

  • Do we have access to play golf during our stay in Palmetto Bluff?

    Yes, we have a golf membership at the club which allows us to book tee times for our guests.
    We can make tee times 30 days in advance for The May River Club Golf Course, and 15 days in advance for the new Crossroads 9-hole course. Please note that blackout dates will apply during peak season and are determined by the club. Guests are responsible for the green fees and caddie fees for everyone in their group and charges will be added to your reservation.
    May River Golf Club is Open Tuesday – Sunday 7am – 5pm.

  • Do we have access to pools within the resort during our stay?

    Yes, we will register you with the Palmetto Bluff Club Concierge and you will receive a registration packet with cards to access both the Canoe Club Pool in Wilson Village and the Moreland Family Pool in Moreland Village. Guests will be charged at the entrance to the pools, $25 per day, per person.
    *Peak weekends and seasons may be limited, but not restricted, by the club.
    Restricted dates are as follows:
    Memorial Day Weekend: Friday, May 24- Monday, May 27
    4th of July Week: Saturday, June 29- Sunday, July 7
    Labor Day Weekend: Saturday, October 30- Monday, September 2

  • Do we have access to restaurants inside the gates of Palmetto Bluff?

    Yes, you have access to the incredible restaurants in Palmetto Bluff.

    Canoe Club – Wilson Village
    Buffalo’s - Wilson Village
    Octagon - Wilson Village
    Cole’s – Moreland Village
    Canteen – Moreland Village

  • Can we rent bikes and golf carts for our stay?

    Yes, as part of your stay with Luxury Simplified Retreats, you can rent bikes from our in-house bike rental program, and bikes can be rented and delivered during your stay. Inquire with your Concierge as to availability.
    Additionally, our guests have exclusive access to our fleet of golf carts that include both 6-seater and 4-seater options. If you did not book your rental prior to check-in please, inquire with your Concierge regarding availability. If you find that you are in need of an additional cart, your Concierge may be able to arrange that if inventory allows.

  • Can you provide grocery stocking?

    Yes, should you arrive and are in need of groceries, we would be delighted to provide grocery services for you and your family. A custom grocery list (and wine/beer/spirt list) can be provided to you, and our team can secure your requests from the grocery items made available via Instacart and coordinate the delivery to your property to ensure all items are fresh and put away. There is a 20% processing fee added to the gross total of items purchased. Email our Concierge Team at pbretreats@luxurysimplified.com

  • Can baby gear be arranged for our rental?

    We would be more than happy to arrange any baby equipment needs such as cribs, baby gates, etc. with a local vendor. Please inform our Concierge Team (843.949.9876) one week before your arrival should you need any of this equipment and we can arrange this to be delivered on your behalf prior to your arrival.

  • Do we need to bring amenities such as soap, shampoo, and paper products?

    Upon check-in, you will be fully outfitted with a “starter” supply of everything for your stay. This includes coffee, paper towels, bath tissue, shampoo/conditioner & body wash, dish soap, and trash bags. Additionally, you can expect your kitchen to be well appointed with dishes & cooking utensils. If you would like our Concierge Team to pick up any additional items and deliver them to you, we are more than happy to do so. Simply contact our Concierge Service 843.949.9876

  • Can I bring my pet?

    Many of our properties here in Palmetto Bluff are dog friendly! We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes – look for the paw-print on any of our property listings to quickly determine if a property is pet friendly. If your four-legged family member will be joining you, you are required to notify us in advance of your arrival. We do have a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet. Please note, currently none of our owners allow cats at their properties.

  • What if I accidentally damage the property during my stay?

    Honesty is always the best policy! Please contact us and let us know when damage occurs. When properly reported, up to $1,000 of accidental damage is covered by our non-refundable Damage Protection Fee. Think of this fee as something that acts similar to insurance. Damages are assessed by the Property Managers and how they are to be resolved, repaired, or replaced, are at the Manager’s discretion.

  • I purchased travel insurance, but I have questions about the policy.

    If you purchased CSA Travel Insurance through us for your stay and have questions concerning your policy, please contact CSA Travel Insurance Help Team at (866) 999.4018. However, if you have not yet purchased insurance and are interested in doing so, please contact our Retreats team and we’re happy to coordinate this on your behalf 843.949.9876.
